Having
bred top quality Connemaras for over thirty years, I have
come to appreciate the importance of brains and attitude
combined with strong, correct conformation. As I phase out
of the Connemaras and into Miniature Horses, I will
continue breeding for these same qualities.
My
intention as a breeder is to produce miniature horses with
the athletic ability, grace, soundness of mind, and correct
conformation to excel at and withstand the rigors of
combined driving competition. Endowed with these
attributes, a Balius Farm miniature should be fit for any
role you ask it to fill.
I
keep several broodmares of top quality, some of which are
for sale in foal to my senior stallion, Winners Circle
Bucks in the Bank, affectionately known as Bach. The
fillies he has so far produced are doing exceptionally well
in the show ring. His daughter, Im Robbin the Bank, was
Supreme Champion at Hurricane Show in Utah, owned and shown
by Austin Van Wyck of Victory Lane Training Center in
Phoenix. The other, also owned and shown by Austin, is
Night Express from Bucks in the Bank, a beautiful grey, and
she is also winning championships. A very successful show
horse himself, Bach is really outdoing himself in the foals
he's siring.
